Feast of Mary Help of Christians and the 75th School Anniversary Kick-off Ceremony

Our school held the Feast of Mary Help of Christians Mass and the 75th School Anniversary Kick-off Ceremony on 22 May at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. The event was presided over by Father Joseph Leung, SDB, Provincial of the Salesians of Don Bosco for the China Province.
In his homily, Father Joseph Leung used the story of the Wedding at Cana to illustrate the Virgin Mary's compassion. He noted that 75 years ago, Salesian missionaries founded our school out of love, guided by the needs of children in Hong Kong. He exhorted students to follow in their footsteps by staying alert to the needs of others and offering timely help.
The event culminated in the School Anniversary Kick-off Ceremony, featuring a spectacular artwork created by combining four distinct paintings into one, illustrating the Salesian story: its vibrant history, present growth, and future aspirations.
