Father Antonio Leung addressed the Salesian Pastoral theme of this academic year: "Lighting Hope with Youth in the Online World", reminding students to learn from children's desire for good and to refrain from harming others, especially online bullying or trampling. He encouraged them to instead encourage and praise others. He also invited students to share information about doing good with others, to work together towards good, and to praise others online.

After the mass, participants received complimentary drinks to celebrate the feast day.
