Study tours to Chinese cities were organized in the past few years. This year, the Chinese History Department, the Geography Department and the ECA Team arranged a tour to Wuhan. S4 and S5 students went on a five-day-four-night tour of Hubei. The highlights of the trip were the history, the culture and the traditional architectures of the province, such as the Chu culture and the history of Xinhai Revolution. The students also studied the construction project and the benefits of the Three Gorges Dam. They were introduced to the country’s development of heavy industry and they had the opportunity to understand more about its current status and path ahead.
