On the afternoon of 3 May, four students from our school participated in the "Salesian Vocation Day". Coinciding with the Church's Jubilee Year celebrations, the event centered on the theme of becoming true disciples and followers of Jesus. Participants were invited to experience the challenges of faith through a small pilgrimage, learning to persevere in carrying their own crosses and responding to God's call.

The gathering began at the Salesian House of Studies, where the host welcomed representatives from various schools and introduced this year's theme: "Faithful Follower of Don Bosco." The group then set out on a small pilgrimage to the Holy Cross Church, where a guided tour was provided, introducing the history and architectural features of the church. The host encouraged participants to cherish the graces of the Jubilee Year by visiting designated pilgrimage churches within the diocese to deepen their spiritual lives.

This year's event featured a special guest, Father Joseph Hsieh from Taiwan, who shared his personal vocation story. He encouraged young people to face challenges courageously and reflected on his own growth journey, inspiring everyone to contemplate the meaning of life. Following his sharing, Father Hsieh celebrated a Eucharist in Mandarin, ahead of the feast day of Saint Dominic Savio, the patron saint of youth.
