S.3 Chow Pak Yiu and Lee Ka Chun were nominated to participate in the said summer course which took place from 3 July to 7 July. Participants were selected from 97 secondary schools and the 200 candidates were all nominated by their schools for their remarkable results in History. The course, which offered precious chance of educational exchange, had invited Professor Pei-kai Cheng, Professor Chow Kai Wing, Professor Chiu Yu Lok, Dr Kwong Tsz-man and Dr Joseph Ting Sun Pao to conduct lectures and field trips. The students were accommodated in the dormitory of The University of Hong Kong for group study. The panel head of our Chinese History Department, Mr Chan Lik Hang, attended the closing ceremony and was glad that our students have greatly benefited from the course.
