Life-wide Learning Day
Date: 30th June 2016
To encourage whole-person development, Life-wide learning Day was held on 30th June. It was an opportunity for all students to participate in various activities. An English Orienteering in the Campus was arranged for S1 students to explore the school through English activities.
S2 students had a chance to get a taste of rope skipping. Both forms also learned about stress management in a talk delivered by experienced speaker of health education. The Chinese History Department organized trivia quiz and movie appreciation session for S3 classes. Students were also arranged to visit the Police Station, Fire Station and Immigration Service Institute of Training and Development. They could understand more about the entry requirements for different fields.
S4 students were invited to organize the S1 English Orienteering. They could develop leadership potentials and sense of responsibility when actively participated in the activity. Rugby was introduced to the students to encourage exercise a habit. Co-organised with The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, career-related talks were held to teach S5 students interviewing skills. Coaches from Hong Kong Tenpin Bowling Congress had a healthy afternoon with them as well learning some basic skills of playing the sport.
